Raw Cacao beans come from the Theobroma Cacao tree, a small evergreen tree grown in Mexico and South America. Raw Cacao has been used for thousands of years. It was first used in Mayan times and where it was regarded as a culinary treasure to be named as the "Food of the Gods" by the Aztecs because of its high nutritional profile and exceptional flavor. Ever since then Cocoa has been used across the world to make chocolate and now only recently are we able to eat it in its natural form again as Raw Cacao.

Macadamia nuts are regarded as the world’s finest nuts. They are small creamy coloured nuts with a distinctive flavour and texture that come from macadamia nut trees that are grown in tropical climates of Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, New Zealand and South Africa.

Their delicate flavour and crunchy texture makes them delicious to eat alone and added to any recipes when you want a rich creamy buttery texture. The nuts grow in extremely hard kernels which are very difficult to crack open.  Once cracked, the shell reveals an ivory colored kernel which is rich in oil with a buttery, creamy flavor.

Macadamia nuts are loaded with vitamins like vitamin E, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin, pantothenic acid (B5) and folate, and minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and calcium. They are a rich source of Vitamin A, iron, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin. They also contain moderate amounts of zinc, copper, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. Macadamias contain antioxidants like polyphenols, Amino acids, flavones and selenium which have anti-aging properties and help us stay young and fit.
