Raw Vegan Almond Milk
Making your own nut milk is so easy and so good for you. If you can’t eat dairy or want to reduce your intake then it’s time to make your own nut milk! Crazy easy, super delicious and great for the whole family. You can use almost any kind of nut as long as its raw and all nuts need different soaking times. For this recipe we are using Almonds because they have the most nutrients of any nut and are a rich source of Vitamin E, Calcium, phosphorous, iron and magnesium.
1 cup of Raw Organic Almonds
3-4 cups of water
1 pinch of sea salt
Soak the almonds for 8-12 hours in water and then strain.
Place all the ingredients and blend in a high speed processor until smooth.
Then pour out the mixture and strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer. This will remove all the almond pulp, set this aside as this can be used in cakes, biscuits or other recipes.
Place in a bottle and keep it in the fridge and use as a replacement for dairy milk.
What’s left is pure Organic Raw Almond Milk. How easy is that? You have homemade almond milk in seconds!
