Raw Chocolate

This isn’t ordinary chocolate this is the superfood called Raw Cacao. It is the raw uncooked chocolate bean that’s packed with minerals like magnesium, high in antioxidants and releases chemicals that make you feel in LOVE!! Most normal chocolate is cooked, processed, then sugar and fat is added so what was once healthy is lost. So here’s a recipe to make your own!

Ingredients

1 cup raw cacao
1 pinch of sea salt
2-3 tablespoons raw honey (or agave)
1 cup cacao butter (or swap for coconut oil if you can’t get cacao butter)

Method

Melt the cacao butter in a glass bowl with another bowl of hot water underneath. Do not heat! Just stir and let it melt. Then add your honey and stir till well combined. Finally mix in your raw cacao powder and salt.

Pour the mixture into chocolate moulds or into a lined baking tray and place in the fridge to set.

If you want you can add cinnamon, nuts, vanilla, goji berries, anything you like. Enjoy!
